Alex is a cynical university student who has a problem with the way the world is. He wants to fight to make a difference and so joins an amateur terrorist group called Black Shark in Masterton, New Zealand. When the group links up with a much more serious Russian terrorist organisation and they are told to kidnap the son of the Minister of Defence, however, Alex starts to question whether he should be involved with Black Shark.
